Announcing the 2024 Keeling Curve Prize Winners at the Sun Valley Forum

This year’s highly anticipated 2024 Keeling Curve Prize awards ceremony will take place on July 15 at the Sun Valley Forum (July 15 -18). Every year, Sun Valley Forum convenes leaders, innovators, and change-makers across sectors to create a better future for all. With a track record of impact, the Forum surfaces the strategies, technologies, business models, and financing that can power the urgent transformation of our energy and food systems, restoration of nature, and revitalization of communities across the globe. This year’s Forum will spotlight the climate solutions that protect and restore natural ecosystems.

 

This awards ceremony will unveil the 10 global winners of the Keeling Curve Prize who have been selected for their outstanding contributions to climate action. The Keeling Curve Prize recognizes projects and programs that are making significant strides in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and promoting sustainability across five key categories: Energy, Finance, Carbon Sinks (natural & engineered), Transport & Mobility, and Social & Cultural Pathways.

Each of these visionary leaders will receive $50,000 to support their innovative climate initiatives, aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions and promoting sustainable solutions. This is a unique opportunity to witness the recognition of groundbreaking projects that are making a real difference in the fight against global warming.

The Global Warming Mitigation Project cannot provide travel stipends for finalists or laureates who wish to attend the event in person. However, there will be an option to join the live stream for FREE for those who cannot make it to Sun Valley. This way, you can still participate and witness the announcement of the winners.
