Daria Gorshenina

Daria Gorshenina is a communications specialist from Russia, based in Utrecht, the Netherlands. Throughout her career she has been aiming to drive social change. With the financial support of the US Embassy in Russia, she launched her own media project to teach young Russian journalists how to cover violations of human rights in Russia. She is also the founder of the podcast "Too Good Too Late," where she talks to young Russians of "Putin's generation" who have spent most of their lives under his dictatorship and discusses their reflections on the Russian invasion of Ukraine and collective responsibility. Currently, she has found shelter in the Netherlands, where she helps local human rights NGOs with community building and provides media training for human rights defenders and journalists from Global South countries. Besides, she is a fellow the Educated Choices Program where she does copywriting about cultivated meat.
