Tshepiso Masilonyane

Our Climate

Tshepiso is a Conservation Scholar from Botswana graduating with a BA(Hons) Global Challenges degree, with a focus on Conservation and Climate Change. He has declared his mission to foster sustainable development in Africa for people and planet, through the delivery of sustainable finance and market-based interventions

He has crafted his academic and professional journey along the nexus between environmental sustainability, climate change and sustainable innovative finance, having worked with organizations such as Ambo Ventures, Conservation Capital, African Parks, and the Botswana Climate Change Network. Tshepiso has contributed to various bodies of research on environmental sustainability including  SOWC’s State of the Wildlife Economy Case Study Reports, ALU Circular Economy Program’s research on Industrial Symbiosis & Eco-Industrial Parks in Africa, Footprints Africa’s Circular Economy in Africa Case Study and a study by the Central European University on Ecosystem-based Adaptation and Climate-Smart Conservation in the Virunga region. Tshepiso is an avid debater, conservationist and aspiring climate finance professional.
