Jaza is a next-generation solar utility working to power a continent. The company builds rechargeable batteries that are powered with solar energy. Customers rent batteries from Jaza shops and swap them when they run out.
100% of operation are run by local women hired in the communities Jaza works to serve. Currently Jaza powers over 115,000 people in Tanzania and Nigeria.
Fellowship Description:
Jaza is seeking an intern to support commercial analysis and capital raising activities. The positon will work directly with the senior leadership team to support market research activities, product development analysis and business model development.
