About the Organization:

SubjectToClimate (StC) is a nonprofit online connector for K-12 educators of all subjects to find credible and engaging materials on climate change at no cost.

Fellowship Description:

- Work with the Director of Content Writing to assist with writing marketing copy

- Copyedit newsletters, blogs, and other marketing materials

- Assist with optimizing blog content

- Work with the SEO specialist to identify keywords for blogs

- Review blog previews (check links, ensure formatting is correct, scan for errors)

- Assist with writing blog metadata (image alt text, blog description, etc.)

- Disseminate information about newly published blogs (newsletters, guides, homepage carousel, etc.)

Qualifications:

- Strong writing skills in the context of journalism or marketing

- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills

- Excellent attention to detail

- Experience working on a remote team

Time Commitment: 10-15 hours / week
