10Power is a social business that develops renewable energy projects with communities who do not have equitable access to electricity. We stand for climate justice! We have been doing projects in Haiti since 2015 and are currently focused on working with Native American Tribal Nations to achieve energy sovereignty. In addition to clean energy we focus on community engagement, gender equity, clean water, education and training.

Fellowship Description:

This position will cover:

* Looking for grant opportunities dealing in innovation and renewable energy and setting up alerts

* Supporting applications, working with community members

* Setting up a templates for responses to applications and overlooking the whole application process

The internship is remote, so flexible hours, with possibility of travel (this would be up to you and your program). You’ll be working directly with CEO / Founder, Sandra Kwak on grants and finance outreach. This is an exciting internship where you will be given a lot of responsibility, learn marketable skills, and make great contacts.

Qualifications:
Intern Qualifications (required/desired):

· Excellent writing skills

· Strong research skills

· Familiarity with multilateral finance organizations

· Strong attention to detail

· Excellent follow up skills

· Passion for providing renewable energy access

Time Commitment: 15-20 hours / week
