Marketing and Communications Manager
Lindsay is honored to be the Marketing Manager for the Global Warming Mitigation Project. Her passion for creative storytelling can be traced back to her pre-professional days, whether as a teenager who took her Canon camera wherever she went or as a video journalist intern while at West Virginia University. After graduating with a degree in Journalism, Lindsay worked at Push Digital, an award-winning creative agency with a variety of brands and nonprofits like SeaWorld, HSN, Exxon, and The Nature Conservancy. This is when Lindsay's love for the intersection of marketing and storytelling blossomed.
Prior to joining GWMP, she worked at GoodUnited, a tech startup providing social fundraising solutions to nonprofits. As an internal marketer, she gained a deeper understanding of the nonprofit space. Her several years of experience building and leading creative marketing strategies and crisis communications campaigns, along with her passion for joining the climate fight, make her a solid addition to the team.
Outside of work, Lindsay loves to travel, explore new places, and do anything that involves being outside in nature. She’s a lover of learning. You can always find her reading a book, testing a new recipe, or trying a new hobby.
