Uzoamaka Onukaogu (she/her) is a graduate of Environmental Management and Toxicology from Nigeria. At the university, she delivered an undergraduate seminar on the application of digital technology in waste management which spurred her interest in pursuing a career as a sustainability leader advocating climate action. Her career interests are deeply rooted in sustainability, digital technology, and education. In the past, she's gained experience in conducting research and contributing towards initiatives focused on teaching young children about anti-corruption education and values such as integrity and justice as a Programme Assistant in a non-profit organization. These experiences have shaped her view on how behavioural change through education can be an effective tool in raising climate-conscious citizens and leaders. She is enthusiastic about the opportunity to join SubjectToClimate and is looking forward to contributing to the organization's mission of inspiring climate action through empowering educators.
