Ananya Mukerji
Ananya Mukerji (she/her) is a writer, researcher, and peer advisor who loves combining creative expression with rigorous analysis. She is a student at Brown University studying Economics and English, where she explores how data and storytelling can work together to tackle complex questions. Ananya has examined democratic backsliding as a Research Fellow with the Democratic Erosion Consortium and analyzed emerging market trends during her internship at ICICI Prudential Asset Management, India’s second-largest mutual fund. She also brings her interest in communication to her roles as a Writing Fellow and Section Editor for the Brown Daily Herald, where she mentors writers and helps shape impactful campus coverage. Outside the classroom, Ananya’s love for theater and visual arts fuels her curiosity about how people share stories, build connections, and make sense of the world. She is excited to bring this blend of creative and analytical thinking to the GWMP fellowship.
