Educational Resource Development
Burkeleigh Boyd (she/her) is a recent graduate of Newcastle University with a BSc Honors in Marine Biology. During her time at university, she conducted original research on the resilience of marine ectotherms to climate change, deepening her interest in the scientific aspects of environmental conservation. Her passion for environmental advocacy led her to pursue internships, including a Time Series Internship at Dove Marine Laboratory, where she gained valuable hands-on experience in marine research. Currently, Burkeleigh is thrilled to be a Resource Development Fellow with the Educated Choices Program as part of the Global Warming Mitigation Project, where she contributes to creating engaging educational materials on sustainable food choices. She is particularly interested in the intersection of climate action, sustainability, and environmental policy, with a long-term goal of pursuing a career in environmental law.
