Fellowship Description:
AgroTech Plus Limited is looking for a creative and digitally savvy Communications and Social Media Manager Fellow to enhance the organization’s online presence and storytelling capacity. The Fellow will play a key role in developing and implementing communication strategies that showcase our impact, engage our stakeholders, and promote our innovative agricultural solutions. Responsibilities will include managing social media platforms, creating content for newsletters and blogs, coordinating media outreach, and supporting brand development initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for a communications enthusiast to work at the intersection of agriculture, technology, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and schedule engaging content across AgroTech Plus's social media platforms (Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
Write blogs, newsletters, press releases, and feature stories highlighting project milestones and success stories.
Design simple graphics and multimedia content using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
Track and report on key performance indicators and audience engagement.
Support media outreach, including maintaining press contacts and coordinating interviews.
Ensure consistent messaging aligned with AgroTech Plus’s brand and mission.
Desired Qualifications:
Enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
Strong writing and storytelling skills, with attention to detail.
Experience managing social media accounts for organizations or brands.
Basic graphic design or video editing skills are an asset.
Interest in agriculture, climate action, or tech for development.
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt messaging to diverse audiences.
Qualifications:
Enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
