Established in 2010, Gham Power emerged as a pioneering force in urban electrification, amid 16-hour power cuts. Later, as we ventured into the rural market, we delved into providing sustainable irrigation through Solar Pumps, loan facilities through local microfinance, and onsite and online agri-advisory to smallholder farmers through our digital application called Super Krishak.

Today, we have empowered over 25,000 farmers and curbed over 53,938 tonnes of CO2. With over a decade in the energy sector, we are dedicated to relentlessly combating climate change and empowering farmers, commercial businesses, and industries through cleaner solar solutions and digital tools.

Fellowship Description:

Social Media Marketing and Design Fellow to join our team and help promote our innovative agri-analytics portal to the agricultural community in Nepal. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for social media, and design, and a keen interest in agriculture.

- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Create engaging social media content, including text posts, images, and videos, that resonate with our target audience.
- Manage and monitor our social media channels (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter).
- Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing graphics and designs for social media posts.
- Analyze social media metrics and provide insights to inform our marketing strategy.
Stay up-to-date on social media trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their algorithms.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Creative and design skills, including proficiency in design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for agriculture and a desire to make a positive impact.

Time Commitment:  20 hours / week
