Emma Harvey (she/her)
Development and Partnerships Manager
Emma Harvey is the Development and Partnerships Manager for the Global Warming Mitigation Project. Emma graduated from Pitzer College in May of 2020 with her bachelor’s degree in Environmental Analysis with an emphasis on the societal implications of climate change. At Pitzer, Emma worked with a non-profit based in Pomona, California that built the first solar panel factory on U.S. soil that is not-for-profit and 100% community run. During undergrad, she was also interested in the role media plays in social justice, and mentored high school students in documentary film-making. She was a Fulbright finalist and was selected to join the education sector of the Peace Corps in its work in Cambodia before the global pandemic upended her plans. Emma is thrilled to join the Global Warming Mitigation Project to continue the fight towards a sustainable, just, and healthy future.
