Carolina Garcia

Global Director for Nature at AB InBev

For over 15 years, Carolina has championed initiatives to build a more just and sustainable world.


As the Global Director for Nature at AB InBev, Carolina lead efforts to integrate nature across the company's global value chain. During her seven-year tenure at the company, she has spearheaded sustainability at a local, regional, and global level. Before her private sector experience, she worked for the World Wildlife Fund, where she was involved in communications, international climate negotiations (from COP19 to COP22), and local advocacy.


Carolina is passionate about innovation. For over four years, she was responsible for the operations of the 100+ Accelerator program. She also became a startup board member, an angel investor, and a co-founder of Still New - a startup that specializes in sustainable fashion for children.


Carolina believes that new narratives and experiences are pivotal to building the regenerative future we deserve. That's why she is part of Mundo Común, an NGO that aims to create a future based on care and interdependence.


She holds a law degree with a specialization in Economics from Los Andes University and has also taught international environmental law and sustainability courses, inspiring future generations, and co-authored "Cambio climático: lo que está en juego".


Carolina is proud to be a One Young World Ambassador, an Aspen Institute First Mover Fellow, and a Homeward Bound Leader who participated in its Antarctic Expedition in 2019. Her work has been recognized by Women of the Future Initiative, which named me one of the 50 Rising Stars in ESG.
