Luca Zerbini

CEO and Co-founder of Una Terra

Luca is the CEO and co-founder of Una Terra, a €200M Venture Capital fund to accelerate European scale-ups fostering solutions to climate change and biodiversity loss. Una Terra was selected by the World Economic Forum as “Innovative Fund for our Future” and as top 50 Impact Funds [IA50] by Impact Assets, and it is a B-Corp and Art. 9 SFDR fund.


Luca is also a Sustainability Operating Advisor with Advent International ($100B AUM) and Triton (€25B AUM).  He is an Independent Board Advisor, who holds NED positions at diversified companies with a clear impact agenda, such as RAB Lighting and Clima Communities, and he is a judge for Mass Challenge accelerator in Switzerland, as well as an active member of the Swiss Venture Capital Association.


Before leaving his corporate career for impact investing, Luca was a C-suite Executive, with a track record of success working up to CEO and Managing Director at Fedrigoni Paper (a $1.4B Bain Capital portfolio company) and Vice-President and General Manager at Amcor for a $1B global packaging business (Amcor is a $13B global NYSE listed, S&P500 corporation), where he also led the Global Sustainability Initiative and the Ellen MacArthur Foundation core partnership, as well as being elected Vice-Chairman of the European Flexible Packaging Association. He also honed his business skills as a management consultant at Bain & Company in Europe and the US, as well as at Hewlett-Packard and Honeywell in key innovation and growth positions.


Luca holds an Industrial Engineering MSE from Politecnico di Milano and an MBA with Honors in Finance, Entrepreneurship and Multinational Management from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He is also a Fellow of The Marketing Academy and of the Institute for Real Growth, connecting top CMOs and Growth leaders.  He speaks fluently English, French, Italian, Spanish and German.
