Climate Corner: Little steps, medium steps, big steps

If you know me or can see my picture in this column, you probably know that I have long and thick hair. Today, I decided to wash it since it felt a bit icky and dry. I usually wash my hair once a week or so, depending on its condition. As for my conditioner, I prefer to use a solid bar with minimal packaging. The bar I use comes in a triangular paperboard box with no added water or plastic. Although I sometimes buy the bars with no packaging at all, I find the triangular one particularly appealing. To make the application process easier, I use a kitchen grater to turn the conditioner into fine flakes. It only takes me a minute or so to do, but I would prefer if the product designers could do it for me in the future for the sake of convenience.
